It is a scene saturation of incompatible: unpredictable human passions and mechanical ticking of a clock
The show is a product of Ljiljana Gvozdanović’s imagination and cooperation with Croatian National Theater and Zagreb Puppet Theater, where the critics praise the dramaturgic line achieved by exchanging different music and dance styles, very well cloaked into a mild irony. It all happens five minutes before midnight, when everything is possible, especially if the clock hands go crazy and the midnight never comes. It is the moment when puppets become people, princes meet their “Cinderellas”, opera prima donnas dance, and ballet soloists sing... It is a scene saturation of incompatible: unpredictable human passions and mechanical ticking of a clock evoke a collision of wishes and destiny, waking and sleeping, but this time with a happy end. With a colorful musical background, mixing modern with classical into a unique dance-theater expression, this little ballet comedy is performed by Pavla Mikolavčić, Valentina Križić, Dunja Novković, George Stanciu, Andrej Izmestjev, Arcadie Balenco, Daniil Yastrebov and opera diva Ivana Boljkovac who fascinates and makes audience laugh with her funny, witty and charming performance which always gets an applause at the open scene.

Ljiljana Gvozdenović after graduating from Classical Ballet School in Zagreb and dancing for Croatian National Theater in Zagreb attended the Academic Theater Taras Ševčenko in Kiev and prepared for the roles in Swan Lake and Giselle. When she returned to Croatia she was the first soloist of Zagreb Ballet and worked with famous ballet educators and choreographers like Natalija Dudinskaja, Nina Belikova, Sergejev, Waczlaw Orlikowski, Milko Šparemblek... Since 199 3 she has cooperated as ballet maestro and assistant with many choreographers like Dragutin Boldin, Dinko Bogdanić, Fran Jelinčić, Ivonica Satie, Veseljko Sulić... Since 199 5 she has cooperated very often with Croatian National Theater Ballet in Split setting Giselle, Schelkunchik, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, House by the Sea...In the meantime she continues her cooperation with Zagreb Ballet as a ballet educator, ballet maestro and choreographer of numerous theater and television programs, cooperates as a ballet educator in Classical Ballet School.
