Academic painter Munir Vejzović will present his big Split exhibition in two display areas. There will be 40 drawings in Kula Gallery and 40 canvas and 20 sculptures in Milesi Palace. Painter and graphic artist Munir Vejzović was born in Doboj in 1945. He graduated at Zagreb Academy in 1970 (A. Mezdjić). During his studies he related himself to expressionism where he has found ideal atmosphere for his Arcadian motives with mythological creatures, city square and street views, still life, café and studio motives. He is a pronounced colorist; characterized by perfectionism of his performance, sophisticated sense of painting material and inspired relation towards intimate-erotic topics. Since 198 7 he has been preoccupied with religious motives and revival of dreamy history. His concise drawings are equally important, full of vitality and dynamics. He had solo shows in Zagreb, New York, Vienna, Belgrade, Dortmund, Varaždin, Paris, Velika Gorica, Osijek, Samobor and Ljubljana
