Little
paradise- it is food, adultery and soccer. But what about a big one?
Although being written ten years ago, comedy Little Paradise has not
lost none of its actuality, as it deals with always intriguing issues:
food, adultery and soccer, on which the author writes in a completely
new, endlessly witty and charming way. The form of writing proved itself
susceptable to all kinds of director’s interventions as well as
impressive acting roles thus Epilog Theatre continues the tradition of
‘actor’s theatre’ and staging plays by Croatian playwrights who strive
to join contemporary, communication and artistic convicition just like
they reflect our social reality directly or indirectly. Comedy Little
Paradise is a new pearl from Epilog Theatre workshop which will make you
lough and you will remember for a long time! If you are interested in
what can make an average Croat happy, come to our Little Paradise and
enjoy in 90 minutes of cheerful acting. See for yourselves why this
comedy has conquered the audiences’ hearts and undivided critical
acclaims.
Milan Grgić following graduation at Academy of Music inZagreb
started his career as a Music Editor on Croatian Radio and Television
where he worked until his retirement. However, somewhere along the way,
he discovered the call for writing so he became a playwright. Given that
he was primarily a man of music, he produced the most important pieces
as a libretto writer with Alfi Kabiljo. This way were written famous
musicals like Great Race, Yalta, Yalta, Ivan of Butterflys, Hairy Life,
Emperor Franz Joseph in Zagreb and The King is Naked. Besides musicals,
Milan Grgić wrote many texts for theatre, radio and television. He
mostly wrote comedies.
Little Paradise deals with human passions: food, adultery and soccer and
light comedy opens up space for real acting gems. |
