Vedrana Kovač rođena je 1979. u Titogradu (Podgorici), gdje započinje i njezino glazbeno obrazovanje. Nastavlja ga na moskovskome Institutu Gnjesinovih učeći solo pjevanje (kod Viktora Nikolajeviča Stulova) i glasovir (kod M. Truseckine), a godine 2003. diplomirala je na moskovskom Konzervatoriju Petar Iljič Čajkovski u klasi Lava Nikolajeviča Naumova. Sada se na istoj ustanovi nalazi na poslijediplomskome studiju. Početkom devedestih dobitnica je triju prvih nagrada na jugoslavenskim natjecanjima Zlatna lira te prve nagrade na jugoslavenskom natjecanju Pod maslinom (1992). Godine 1999. osvojila je prvu nagradu i Grand Prix na Međunarodnome natjecanju Le Muse u Italiji, a iste je godine dobila i Grand Prix na Festivalu Inspiracija u Moskvi. Godine 2000. finalistica je festivala u La Meziji te dobitnica treće nagrade na Međunarodnome natjecanju Carlo Soliva u Casale Monferratu (2002). Redovito koncertira u svim važnijim moskovskim koncertnim dvoranama te u drugim ruskim gradovima, a gostovala je i u Italiji. Prvu solističku kompaktnu ploču (s djelima Bacha, Chopina, Francka i Šostakoviča), koju je godine 2000. snimila u Moskvi, uspješno je predstavila u povodu Dana državnosti Republike Hrvatske u Rahmanjinovljevoj dvorani moskovskoga Konzervatorija. Godine 2003. snimila je novi CD (sa skladbama Beethovena i Rahmanjinova) uz pratnju Ruskoga simfonijskog orkestra pod ravnanjem Maksima Fedotova.

Croatian pianist Vedrana Kovač was born in 1979 in Titograd (Podgorica) where she obtained elementary and highschool education, and afterwards (up till 1988)  aslo studied solo voice at the Institution Gnjesin in Moscow (under Viktor Nikolajevič Stulov), and piano (under M. Truseckina), and in 2003 graduated from Conservatoire of Moscow Petar Iljič Čajkovski under Lav Nikolajevič Naum. She is now at the postgraduate studies at the same institution. She is the winner of the first three prizes at Yugoslavian Competitions Golden Lyra (1991, 1992,1993), and the First Prize winner at Yugoslavian Competition Under the Olive Tree (1992). In 1999 she won the First Prize and Grand Prix at the International Competition Le Muse in Italy; the same year she won Grand Prix at the Festival Inspirations in Moscow. She was a finalist at the Festival in La Mezija   (2000) and won the First Prize at the International Competition Carlo Soliva in Casale Monferrato (2002). She regulary has concerts in all important concert halls in Moscow and other Russian cities, and she was a guest artist in Italy. On the occasion of Croatian National Day, in the Hall of Rahmanjinov of Conservatoire in Moscow, she successfully represented her first soloist compact disc (with works by Bach, Chopin, Franck and Šostakovič), that she recorded in Moscow in 2000. In 2003 she recorded her new CD (with compositions by Beethoven and Rahmanjinov) accompanied by the Russian Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Maksim Fedotov.
